At Pure Castings we pride ourselves on offering a trust worthy, competative and reliable refining service. Extraordinary care is taken with each scrap lot received including multiple weighing verification assays and special lot processing.

To ensure quality and accuracy, we also provide you with a dip sample for assaying from an independent source.

We guarantee to process your scrap in the most efficient manner to give you the best possible return on your scrap shipment.

Refining consists of smelting & melting scrap, lemel and sweeps to remove impurities. Then Chemically refined back to pure metal Au Ag Pd Pt

Timing & Fees

Refining times are generally 7 – 10 working days. Sweeps will take between 4 to 6 weeks to process. Fees will vary depending on assay requirements in parcels and weight after melting. Please contact us to discuss packaging and transport. Assay fees are the same as for scrap and lemel except refining charges are based on weight received.

Settlement

Once refined, out turns can settled as follows:

• Metal bullion
• Fabricated forms
• Cheque
• Direct deposit to your account, or
• Credit to your account with Pure Casting.
